Role Overview
The enterprise renewals process is transforming with advanced automation. This position emphasizes enhancing AI systems that streamline administrative renewal tasks, shifting the strategic responsibilities to the manager. You will oversee Trilogy's most valuable client accounts, collaborating closely with Fiona, an AI agent specializing in contract renewals. Fiona handles preparation, data analysis, contract processing, and routine communication, enabling you to prioritize executive-level engagements, strategic commercial planning, and complex negotiations that require human insight beyond AI's current capacity. Each renewal interaction also contributes to Fiona's evolving autonomy, continually strengthening the AI-driven renewal infrastructure.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain executive relationships and lead high-level commercial negotiations for critical enterprise renewal contracts, often multi-year and exceeding one million USD.
- Partner with Fiona to enhance the AI agent’s capacity through your expertise and customer insights.
- Analyze customer health metrics, usage data, financial records, and potential risks to proactively secure renewals.
- Utilize Salesforce and AI-powered workflows for precise forecasting and early risk detection, focusing human interventions on high-impact areas.
- Translate client interactions into scalable improvements for the renewals systems.
Tasks Excluded from This Role
- No involvement in manual paperwork, approval tracking, or routine administrative renewal tasks.
- Not responsible for renewing high volumes of small to mid-sized business accounts.
- No prospecting for new customers or operating under traditional commission-based sales quotas.
- Not expected to develop software or build AI models from scratch.
- Will not lead or manage a large renewals team, but rather have direct influence on key account outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience managing enterprise renewals or retention for B2B software clients with accounts of at least $100,000 ARR.
- Consistent track record meeting or exceeding quarterly retention or net revenue retention targets (minimum 90% NRR) across several quarters.
- Hands-on leadership in closing complex multi-year renewals valued at $1 million or more.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools in renewals, customer success, or sales environments.
- Advanced proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems for forecast management and risk evaluation.
- Excellent communication, commercial negotiation skills, and ability to nurture executive client relationships.
- Comfort and efficiency working within a fully remote, global setting.
Preferred Attributes
- Background in optimizing AI prompts, workflows, or decision-making based on client data.
- Experience in enterprise SaaS, cloud software, or subscription technology fields.
- Expertise integrating contract data, customer health indices, support feedback, and usage analytics to drive renewal strategy.
- Systematic thinker skilled in automating and enhancing repeatable commercial workflows.
