Overview
An employer in Abu Dhabi is hiring a Storekeeper to oversee the receiving, storage, issuing, and tracking of materials and inventory. The role is focused on keeping stock accurate and supporting smooth day-to-day warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Check incoming deliveries, compare them with purchase orders and delivery paperwork, and confirm quantities and condition.
- Arrange materials and products in a safe, organized, and systematic manner.
- Release items only against approved requisitions or requests.
- Keep inventory data current by recording stock receipts, issues, and other movements in the system.
- Carry out routine stock counts and support inventory audits when required.
- Watch stock levels closely and escalate any shortages, damage, or mismatches.
Experience Preference
Candidates with prior exposure as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or Inventory Controller are preferred.
