Storekeeper - Interior Fit-Out

Job Summary

The Storekeeper for Interior Fit-Out is responsible for overseeing the reception, storage, distribution, and inventory control of materials, tools, equipment, and consumables necessary for interior fit-out projects. This position ensures that projects proceed without material delays by maintaining accurate records and efficiently managing stock according to company standards.

Responsibilities

• Accept, inspect, and document incoming materials and tools against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
• Confirm the quantity, quality, and condition of received items, reporting any discrepancies or damages promptly.
• Safely organize and store materials in assigned areas to avoid damage and allow for easy access.
• Distribute materials, equipment, and tools to project sites based on authorized requisitions.
• Keep precise stock records and log inventory movements in the ERP or inventory management system.
• Perform regular physical stock checks and inventory audits to verify stock accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with Procurement to ensure timely restocking.
• Track material transfers between warehouse and project locations.
• Ensure all items are properly labeled and identified in storage.
• Maintain documentation including goods received notes, delivery notes, issue vouchers, and return slips.
• Coordinate with project teams to address material needs, shortages, and delivery timetables.
• Oversee maintenance and condition of warehouse equipment and storage facilities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.
• Implement and uphold safe storage procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and stock movement reports.

Requirements

• Possession of a Diploma or High School Certificate; additional qualifications in Warehouse Management or Supply Chain are advantageous.
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a Storekeeper in interior fit-out, construction, joinery, or manufacturing sectors.
• Experience working within UAE or GCC region is preferred.
