About the Role and Company
This opportunity is for the position of Store Assistant at an electrical manufacturing company located in Oragadam, Chennai. The role is suitable for candidates with 0 to 1 year experience, including fresh graduates.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving and inspecting materials upon arrival.
- Keeping accurate inventory and stock records.
- Disbursing materials to the production team as needed.
- Logging inward and outward material transactions.
- Assisting with stock checks and inventory audits.
- Proper organization and labeling of materials.
- Coordinating activities with Production and Purchase departments.
- Ensuring the store area remains clean and safe.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Basic understanding of store or warehouse operations.
- Fundamental knowledge of MS Excel is advantageous.
- Effective communication skills and eagerness to learn.
- Open to freshers and candidates with minimal experience.
