Role Overview
We seek a highly proficient and forward-thinking Solutions Engineer to contribute to our exceptional growth. Collaborating closely with Account Executives and the Customer Success team, you will design and present tailored, sector-specific product demonstrations. This role offers hybrid work based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, or fully remote positions within the Eastern or Atlantic time zones of Canada.
Reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering, your pivotal responsibility is to clearly showcase our product's value proposition and convert prospects into customers. Sales presentations are predominantly conducted via Zoom, with occasional client engagements on-site and participation at trade shows.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team throughout the sales process to understand and communicate client needs effectively.
- Develop and deliver customized product demos highlighting return on investment and industry expertise.
- Plan and implement successful Proof of Concept (PoC) trials.
- Demonstrate technical platform features and actively engage diverse audiences, including Fortune 500 executives and C-level decision-makers.
- Maintain accurate CRM records in Salesforce.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support and educate clients.
- Provide product insights and thought leadership to sales, marketing, customer experience, and leadership groups.
- Assist in expanding customer and prospect databases through activities such as trade show participation.
- Support the Customer Success team during trials and throughout the customer lifecycle to enable optimal product use.
- Contribute broadly to company growth and development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in roles involving product demonstrations or solutions engineering.
- Proven excellence in client interaction and relationship building.
- Comprehensive knowledge of business functions including sales, marketing, service, and support.
- Experience or familiarity with corporate security, threat analysis, or open-source intelligence is a valuable asset.
- A curious and analytical approach with the ability to ask insightful questions to identify underlying problems.
