Job Overview

As a foundational member of the Solutions Engineering team at Notion, you will support sales growth by collaborating closely with sales personnel and assisting prospective and current clients. This includes addressing complex technical inquiries, responding to RFPs and security concerns, and guiding customers throughout their deployment and integration of Notion. The role involves demonstrating tailored solutions reflective of deep product knowledge and gathering structured feedback to help the Product and Engineering teams enhance Notion. Additionally, you will partner with marketing to refine technical narratives and educate the sales force on product updates, competition, and typical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to engage customers effectively during the sales process.
• Manage advanced product questions, respond to RFPs, and handle security questionnaires promptly and accurately.
• Provide technical direction to accelerate successful customer implementation and integration of Notion.
• Customize demonstrations of Notion's capabilities to align with customer workflows and integrated apps.
• Collect and communicate detailed product feedback to improve future development.
• Assist marketing in crafting technical content such as blogs, webinars, and sales materials.
• Train sales teams on product features, upcoming releases, and competitive landscapes.
• Create and maintain documentation and knowledge bases for internal and external use.
• Represent Notion at industry events to present product vision and foster strong customer relationships.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Technical Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
• Strong understanding of API utilization for complex customer workflows.
• Experience with third-party integrations related to IAM/SSO, DLP, or SIEM platforms.
• Proven skills in project management with a track record of completing complex projects.
• Adaptable mindset suited to a rapidly evolving startup and business environment.
• Growth mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to an early-stage team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience as an early hire in fast-scaling startups.
• Familiarity with Notion as a user.
• Basic coding skills for scripting with the Notion API.
• Knowledge of relational database design and use.

Compensation and Work Environment

The position offers a competitive total on-target earning estimated between €119,000 and €133,000 annually, adjusted for location, role complexity, and candidate qualifications. This includes base salary and incentive pay. The role is full-time and onsite in Dublin, Ireland.
