Site Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Site Engineer based in Chennai responsible for supervising daily construction operations and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure projects meet quality and scheduling standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities at the project site.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams.
• Verify that work adheres strictly to drawings, specifications, and quality benchmarks.
• Track workforce productivity and maintain comprehensive daily progress reports.
• Enforce safety protocols throughout the construction site.
• Manage material inventories and coordinate timely deliveries.
• Provide regular progress updates to the Project Manager or management team.
• Ensure project completion within designated timelines.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech or Diploma).
• Experience between 1 to 5 years in building construction; fresh graduates with strong technical understanding are also welcome to apply.
• Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings is advantageous.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office considered a plus.
• Strong communication and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to perform efficiently in a high-paced construction environment.

Additional Information

• Work location is Chennai.
• Monthly compensation ranges from 25000 to 35000 INR.
