Showroom Vehicle Technician

Overview

Located in Warrington, this full-time position involves ensuring vehicles in the showroom are thoroughly checked and repaired to meet high quality standards before customer handover. You will be part of the on-site sales technician team, responsible for diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical faults to maintain operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections identifying mechanical issues for repair.
• Diagnose and repair faults ensuring vehicles meet preset quality specifications before sale.
• Detect and fix electrical system problems using systematic diagnosis.
• Interpret wiring diagrams for fault tracing and resolution.
• Operate various diagnostic tools with efficiency.
• Perform basic coding and programming to verify electronic system functionality.
• Gather necessary technical information and resources including manuals and diagnostic software.

Requirements

• Experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Junior Technician is preferred.
• Possession of a Level 3 Vehicle Technician Qualification; semi-skilled or fully qualified candidates are welcome.
• A valid full UK driving licence is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from £28,800 to £40,400.
