Service Technician

About the Role

Culligan Ireland is seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our field team based in the Midlands, specifically Mullingar, County Westmeath. This permanent full-time position includes a six-month probationary period. We are committed to providing cleaner, healthier water worldwide, with our technicians playing a crucial role in maintaining and servicing water coolers and filtration systems at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled sanitization and disinfection of water coolers and drinking water systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment safety, hygiene, and operational efficiency.
• Install, service, and repair water coolers and filtration units according to company standards.
• Replace filters and consumables on service timelines to maintain system integrity.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and implement effective technical repairs.
• Accurately complete digital records of service and sanitization activities using the company’s system.
• Maintain van stock levels and care for tools and materials essential for daily functions.
• Provide outstanding customer service and represent Culligan professionally in all interactions.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols rigorously to ensure compliance.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full, valid driving license with a maximum of 6 penalty points and no disqualifications.
• Experience in field servicing, maintenance, technical, hygiene, or sanitization roles is preferred; comprehensive training on products will be provided.
• Exhibit strong attention to cleanliness, quality workmanship, and detail orientation.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical or mechanical problems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
• Capable of working independently while efficiently managing a demanding schedule.
• History of working in target-driven environments and consistently meeting service KPIs.
• Good geographical knowledge of the local Midlands area and surrounding regions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented attitude.

Compensation

The annual salary for this role is €32,000, paid monthly. Additionally, employees receive a tax-free meal allowance of €4,000 each year.
