About the Role
Culligan Ireland is seeking a dedicated Service Technician based in the Midlands region. This full-time permanent position, subject to a six-month probation period, involves fieldwork to maintain and service our water coolers and filtration systems. The annual salary is €32,000, paid monthly, complemented by an annual tax-free meal allowance of €4,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled sanitization and disinfection of water coolers and drinking water systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and hygienically.
- Install, service, and repair water coolers and filtration units.
- Replace filters and other consumables following set service schedules.
- Diagnose faults and implement effective repair solutions.
- Maintain digital service and sanitization records using company software systems.
- Manage van inventory and upkeep tools and materials for daily tasks.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while representing Culligan professionally.
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid full driving license with fewer than 6 penalty points and no disqualifications.
- Previous experience in field service, maintenance, technical, hygiene, or sanitisation roles is preferred; comprehensive product training will be provided.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, quality, and detail orientation.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical or mechanical issues.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Capable of working independently while managing a demanding workload.
- Experience meeting targets and service KPIs in a results-driven environment.
- Good knowledge of local geography and surrounding areas.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal abilities.
