Role Overview
The Senior Video Editor role, located in Gothenburg, is a full-time onsite position. This role is responsible for assembling and editing video content that supports various consumer brands, including social media campaigns, advertisements, product-related videos, and brand storytelling initiatives. The position demands close cooperation with marketing, creative, and brand teams to ensure visual materials align with campaign objectives and schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and manage raw video footage effectively.
- Perform scene selection and editing to craft compelling stories.
- Apply color grading to maintain consistent and appealing visual aesthetics.
- Incorporate motion graphics and graphic elements to enhance narrative impact and brand identity.
- Ensure brand uniformity throughout all video content produced.
- Manage video files and assets efficiently for seamless workflow.
- Optimize videos for various platforms and formats.
- Stay informed about current video editing trends and best industry practices.
Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise in video production and comprehensive editing processes.
- Advanced skills in video color grading to deliver polished final products.
- Experience in creating and integrating motion graphics and graphical enhancements.
- Competence with industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalents.
- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and optimization techniques for web and social media platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-brand setting.
- Effective communication abilities with a proven track record of collaborative teamwork.
- Formal education or professional training in film, media, design, or related disciplines is advantageous.
