Role Overview
The Senior Planning Officer will be responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels across all sales depots in alignment with company inventory policies. This involves monitoring stock fluctuations, interpreting sales trends, managing SKU aging to minimize expiry, submitting stock replenishment plans for approval, and coordinating order confirmations and deliveries. Regular reporting such as weekly reefer turnaround delay will also be generated.
Key Responsibilities
- Constantly track stock changes to determine needs for replenishment or order modification.
- Analyze sales data to plan efficient inventory restocking strategies.
- Identify slow-moving inventory to prevent stock expiration at depots.
- Compile and submit consolidated replenishment orders for Central Procurement approval.
- Produce weekly reports on refrigerated transport delays.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- At least 2 years' experience in logistics or supply planning.
- Proven ability managing a large volume of SKUs.
- Strong English communication skills both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in SAP and ERP systems.
- Necessary competencies include business acumen, understanding sales trends, high analytical aptitude, interpretive capability, and teamwork orientation.
