Role Overview

The Senior Internal Communications (IC) Business Partner serves as a strategic consultant to leadership teams, playing a pivotal role in Quadient's transformation initiatives. This position assists leaders in guiding change, aligning employees with business goals, and ensuring understanding, adoption, and sustainability of critical projects across the organization.

Operating at the crossroads of business strategy, leadership, and organizational change, the Senior IC Business Partner advises senior management and crafts internal communication strategies that foster awareness, readiness, and confidence amid transformation phases.

Part of a global internal communications team, this role collaborates closely with solution leadership, the Senior Director of Internal Communications, Senior Editorial Lead, and fellow IC Business Partners to assure communications adequately support company goals and employee requirements.

Besides addressing solution-specific priorities, this role spearheads communications for significant cross-functional efforts such as AI integration, leadership development, cultural initiatives, and enterprise-wide transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted strategic communications advisor to solution leadership, converting enterprise and solution goals into messaging frameworks and communication plans that promote clarity, alignment, and employee engagement.
• Support leaders in delivering messages confidently and consistently through coaching, message crafting, and facilitating impactful internal events like town halls, leader sessions, kickoffs, AMAs, and strategic updates.
• Lead communication efforts for solution and enterprise transformation projects by employing change management methodologies, orchestrating messaging sequences, and pacing communications to ensure understanding, readiness, and lasting adoption.
• Guarantee communications adhere to Quadient’s corporate narrative, messaging architecture, and editorial standards by enforcing governance, channel guidelines, and cross-solution coordination to maintain consistency and focus.
• Collaborate on global and cross-solution priorities such as AI, leadership enablement, culture activities, Employer Value Proposition activation, and other enterprise programs, translating broad narratives into solution-level communications.
• Provide guidance and support for communications during sensitive organizational matters including changes and mergers/acquisitions, working alongside HR and senior leadership to maintain employee alignment and effective messaging.
• Utilize data analytics, feedback, and communication insights to continually enhance communication effectiveness, support informed decision-making, and increase strategic impact.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in internal, change, or corporate communications within global, matrixed organizations.
• Proven trusted advisor to senior leaders with the capability to influence and constructively challenge while offering clear, practical guidance.
• Exceptional skills in storytelling and message development, able to simplify complex matters, frame issues adeptly, and create compelling narratives for varied audiences.
• Strong expertise in change communications with experience applying change management principles to facilitate transformation and employee adoption; certification in change management is advantageous.
• Strategic thinker with solid business understanding, capable of rapidly grasping solution strategies and organizational priorities, and translating these into clear communication strategies.
• Highly capable in planning and prioritizing, adept at balancing strategic objectives with tactical demands in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent collaboration and relationship-building abilities, culturally aware and adaptable to work effectively across various teams, functions, geographies, and diverse global audiences.
• Insight-oriented, relying on data, feedback, and channel performance metrics to guide decisions, assess impact, and continually improve communication effectiveness.
• Comfortable integrating AI responsibly, including adopting AI-driven communication tools and conveying topics like responsible AI in clear, relevant, and actionable ways.
