Your Role

As a Senior Financial Analyst within the NetCo division, you will play a pivotal role in transforming financial data into actionable insights that aid improved decision-making across Technology and AI & Business Services portfolios. Collaborating extensively with business stakeholders and commercial managers, your efforts will enhance forecasting accuracy, transparency, and cost management while contributing to finance activities including wholesale revenue analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead budgeting and forecasting procedures for Technology and AI & Business Services portfolios.
  • Manage month-end financial reporting for NetCo, ensuring precision and timeliness in P&L and balance sheet outputs.
  • Engage with stakeholders to decipher performance drivers and maintain an updated rolling financial forecast.
  • Provide clear variance analysis, risk assessment, opportunity identification, and performance trend reports to support strategic decisions.
  • Deliver tailored financial analyses aimed at cost optimisation and support of commercial projects.
  • Establish and nurture collaborative relationships across Finance, Technology, and AI & Business Services teams.
  • Drive continuous enhancement of financial reporting processes, tools, and accuracy to boost efficiency and insight.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting with a keen grasp of commercial factors.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining complex financial details clearly and authoritatively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proven ability to build influential relationships across financial and business units.
  • Commercially curious with knowledge or interest in telecommunications industry dynamics and key business drivers.
  • Competence in managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proficiency with financial software and tools including Excel, Power BI, ERP systems, and reporting platforms, adaptable to emerging technologies.
