Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Managers, and technical teams to capture business goals, user expectations, and operational challenges.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to extract and clarify requirements.
• Analyze current business processes to uncover opportunities for automation and enhancement.
• Convert gathered business needs into epics, user stories, features, workflow diagrams, and detailed functional specifications.
• Manage and refine the product and sprint backlogs, participating actively in sprint and release planning.
• Ensure user stories conform to defined readiness and acceptance criteria.
• Identify delivery constraints including risks, dependencies, and their impact.
• Assist with change management and user adoption when required.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, UX, QA, and Validation throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support system testing and user acceptance testing to verify that delivered solutions align with business requirements.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders on priorities, dependencies, and delivery effects.
• Lead discussions that promote alignment and help informed decision-making.
• Analyze customer feedback, product results, and operational data to propose improvements.
• Provide insights to Product Managers to guide backlog prioritization and roadmap planning.

Working Arrangements

• This position requires a hybrid work setup with at least three days weekly presence at the Chennai office.
• Core working hours onsite emphasize collaboration and productivity.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or related disciplines.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in Business Analysis demonstrating solid knowledge of Agile frameworks, Scrum processes, SDLC, and product delivery mechanisms.
• Proficiency in writing and managing user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experienced in collaborating with Product, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Validation teams.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or other regulated sectors is an advantage.
