Senior Accountant

About the Role

Hytech Micro Measurement Private Limited is seeking a seasoned and meticulous Senior Accountant to oversee daily accounting functions. This role demands a professional who can independently manage accounts, ensure statutory compliance, and prepare comprehensive financial reports effectively.

Key Duties

• Oversee daily accounting operations.
• Manage GST, TDS, and related statutory compliance requirements.
• Prepare, file GST returns, and maintain tax documentation.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ledger maintenance.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Generate MIS reports and financial statements.
• Collaborate with auditors, banks, and external consultants as needed.
• Process payroll and employee reimbursements accurately.
• Ensure prompt reconciliation of vendor and customer accounts.
• Support monthly and annual financial closing procedures.
• Maintain precise and thorough record-keeping and documentation.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or an equivalent qualification.
• Between 6 to 7 years of practical accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency with Tally accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Comprehensive understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and fundamental accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical capabilities and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Experience in audit execution and preparing financial reports.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.
