Role Overview
This position combines the responsibilities of a Scrum Master and a Technical Project Manager, focusing on healthcare-related enterprise DevSecOps initiatives. The individual will coordinate multiple functional delivery teams, manage Agile execution, and ensure the implementation of secure CI/CD pipeline standards. Collaboration with Cloud Platform Engineering leadership, security teams, and application teams is essential to accelerate delivery, minimize deployment risks, and unify release governance for various digital products.
Primary Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for platform and application teams.
- Lead project delivery from inception to completion for DevSecOps and continuous integration/delivery efforts, overseeing scope, timelines, risk management, dependencies, and cross-team coordination.
- Work closely with Cloud Platform Engineering leadership to translate platform strategies into actionable delivery plans and sprint commitments.
- Coordinate across engineering, security, infrastructure, and application units to align priorities and ensure predictable outcomes.
- Maintain program backlogs, prioritizing and sequencing work to meet enterprise delivery goals.
- Proactively identify and remove delivery obstacles by escalating risks, resolving dependencies, and facilitating decision-making amongst technical and operational stakeholders.
DevSecOps and CI/CD Delivery Focus
- Enable Agile practices for CI/CD pipelines supporting cloud-native applications, ensuring consistent, repeatable, and compliant deployments.
- Integrate security and compliance checks within sprint workflows and pipeline stages to promote secure-by-default delivery methods.
- Manage release coordination and deployment readiness, including version control standards, go-live criteria, and post-release validation activities.
- Act as the central liaison between application and platform teams, ensuring pipeline capabilities meet delivery requirements without causing delays.
Tools, Frameworks, and Methodologies
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe frameworks.
- Proficiency in DevSecOps practices.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud environments.
- Collaboration on Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform.
- Backlog management and tracking through Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Expertise in release planning and change coordination processes.
