Job Overview
As a Sales Engineer at Check Point, each day brings unique challenges ranging from hands-on work with state-of-the-art security technologies to understanding critical security obstacles faced by customers. You will play a pivotal role in designing tailored solutions by collaborating closely with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the accounts team to identify potential client prospects.
- Lead meetings with customers to assess their security challenges and recommend fitting solutions.
- Address technical inquiries, provide guidance on best practices, and oversee Proof-of-Concept implementations.
- Prepare and respond to Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP).
- Inform and educate clients about the latest advancements in security technology.
- Participate actively in cybersecurity events to represent the company and network with industry professionals.
Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum of five years’ experience in engineering and pre-sales roles within cybersecurity.
- A history of successfully securing wins in competitive markets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of typical client network infrastructures.
- Competence in designing comprehensive end-to-end security solutions tailored to customers' environments.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Relevant industry certifications preferred, such as CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, or CCSE.
- Familiarity with customer environments involving cloud computing, IT/OT integration, SD-WAN, Identity and Access Management (IAM), SASE, ZTNA, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
- Fluent or native proficiency in English.
