Role Overview

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) within our Sales team, you will help potential and current customers fully leverage our Global HR platform. This role involves responding to incoming inquiries and assisting customers in understanding how to utilize Remote's comprehensive product suite effectively. You will contribute significantly by engaging outbound leads, qualifying prospects, and scheduling meetings to support account executives. Our transparent pricing policy aligns with our focus on customer trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to Account Executives as necessary during the sales process.
  • Educate and nurture prospects until they can be transitioned to the sales team.
  • Create targeted prospect lists and penetrate critical accounts.
  • Conduct cold calls using various lead sources.
  • Research key stakeholders, understand business requirements, and present initial solutions to begin the sales cycle.

Candidate Profile

  • A proven track record of business development success with core sales tools (experience with Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Chorus is advantageous).
  • Previous experience as an SDR in a B2B SaaS technology company.
  • Skilled negotiator capable of persuasively selling ideas and services.
  • Strong communication skills in English: excellent speaking, writing, listening, and an engaging phone presence.
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically, maintaining a positive mindset amidst criticism or setbacks.
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach, urgency in achieving goals, and a willingness to contribute new ideas.
  • Highly motivated and diligent work ethic.
  • Fluency in automation and AI concepts relevant to the role.
  • Previous remote work experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Work Environment and Location

This role reports to the Manager, Outbound Sales Development, and is part of the Sales team. The position is fully remote, based within Australia or New Zealand, allowing you to work asynchronously and plan your own schedule around your life.

We offer a salary range for this position with On-Target Earnings between $61,000 USD and $72,000 USD annually, with the base salary representing 70% of total compensation.
