Key Responsibilities

• Securely attach lifting equipment such as slings, shackles, and hooks.
• Communicate clear and safe signals to crane operators via hand or radio.
• Observe load movements carefully to detect any instability.
• Direct loads during lifting, swinging, and positioning to avoid collision or tipping hazards.
• Adhere strictly to lifting plans, method statements, and toolbox safety talks.
• Immediately halt lifting activities if unsafe conditions are detected.
• Comply with SATORP health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and policies.
• Possess sound knowledge of plant hazardous materials.
• Understand and properly utilize personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications and Experience

• At least six years of experience in oil and gas maintenance.
• Completion of high school education.
• Possession of a valid certification from a recognized third-party certifying agency or an accredited Saudi institution, verifying competencies required for the duties.
