Role Details
We are seeking a Reinstatement Operative to join the Network Operations team, specifically within our backfill and reinstatement division. This critical role supports the maintenance, repair, and replacement of underground water infrastructure in the Wrexham and Powys regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various reinstatement duties on the water distribution network as directed by the Planning Team in our Wrexham head office.
- Maintain personal and workplace health and safety and take responsibility for the welfare of colleagues, stakeholders, and the public affected by your work.
- Exercise sound judgment regarding risks and impacts on customers, the public, and traffic, ensuring compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and company standards.
- Carry out all aspects of reinstatement operations including waste transfer, backfill, and repair activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience with reinstatement tasks, particularly on public highways and private sites.
- Ability to work effectively within a reinstatement team.
- Strong commitment to implementing daily health and safety practices.
- Physical capability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and manage demanding tasks.
- Essential to hold a valid UK driving license; category C1 preferred.
- NRSWA qualification is preferred.
