Evergreen Talent Group is a specialized recruitment firm partnering with top contractors, engineering firms, and project delivery businesses across Ireland, the UK, and mainland Europe. Our focus spans multiple sectors including Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, M&E, Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Industrial, Semiconductor, Energy, and High Voltage Infrastructure. As our operations expand, we seek an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our Dublin office to develop and lead a dedicated permanent recruitment desk.

Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will assume responsibility for managing relationships and recruitment within a focused market sector, aiming to become an acknowledged expert in Construction, Engineering, and Data Centre recruitment. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders such as hiring managers, Project Directors, and Operations Directors to understand workforce needs and project pipelines, then identify and engage qualified candidates, including those not actively seeking roles.
- Develop long-term client relationships with contractors, engineering companies, and project-focused organizations.
- Conduct detailed job briefings and advise on salaries, market availability, and conditions.
- Utilize sourcing techniques including LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, databases, and market mapping to find candidates.
- Screen applicants and produce accurate professional profiles for client submissions.
- Coordinate interview scheduling, feedback exchange, offer discussions, salary negotiations, and candidate onboarding.
- Maintain precise ATS records and ensure strict compliance with GDPR and recruitment protocols.
Market Development and Personal Branding
You will build expertise and market presence in a specialized niche of Construction, Engineering, M&E, or Data Centre recruitment by actively tracking market activity, establishing professional networks, and growing your personal brand through content creation, job promoting, and industry engagement. The goal is to foster trust and partnership with clients beyond transactional recruitment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants will have a commercially-driven mindset, resilience, and a genuine intention to cultivate a long-term career in recruitment. Candidates may currently work as Recruitment Consultants, Senior Consultants, Talent Acquisition Specialists, Recruiters or Business Development professionals.
- Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, sales, or business development roles.
- Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and managing professional relationships.
- Confidence in interacting with senior-level clients and candidates.
- Proficiency in sourcing passive candidates using LinkedIn, databases, and direct headhunting.
- Excellent organizational capabilities to handle multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness, meticulous attention to detail, and a professional demeanor.
Background in Construction, Engineering, Data Centre, M&E, or technical recruitment is a significant advantage. Candidates must possess the legal right to work in Ireland. The role is Dublin-based, supporting clients and candidates in Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
