About the Role

Simply Education, part of the Tatton Recruitment Group, is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join their Kent office located in Rochester, Kent, ME2 4HN. This is a full-time role with a flexible hybrid working arrangement: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday in the office, Wednesday remote, and Thursdays dedicated to school site visits. The position offers a salary range of A330,000 to A337,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with schools across Kent.
• Identify, attract, and place teaching and support staff in both permanent and temporary positions.
• Manage and expand your own pool of candidates effectively.
• Deliver high-quality, consultative support through regular face-to-face visits and ongoing engagement with client schools.
• Understand the specific challenges faced by schools and propose appropriate recruitment solutions.
• Consistently meet or exceed targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business growth.

Candidate Profile

• Proven recruitment experience, preferably within education but open to candidates from fast-paced sectors such as industrial, hospitality, and FMCG.
• Experience in education recruitment or in school settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong history of meeting or surpassing billing and performance targets, demonstrating desk development capability.
• Excellent communication skills capable of influencing various stakeholder levels.
• A service-oriented, consultative sales approach focused on relationship building with clients and candidates alike.
