Job Overview
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture is seeking a motivated Receptionist to join the team at Chatelherault Country Park, Hamilton. This is a part-time role, working 5 hours weekly on Sundays from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The position is fixed-term until March 31, 2027, with an hourly pay rate ranging from A313.80 to A314.27.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all cash transactions, including issuing receipts, cash reconciliation, and preparing money for banking procedures compliant with company standards.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide assistance aligned with the organisation's customer care standards.
- Perform clerical tasks to support efficient reception and facility operations.
- Promote centre activities to visitors.
- Manage receipt and distribution of mail and goods.
- Undertake other duties as required to support team success.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working in a customer-oriented environment is desirable.
- Familiarity with computerized till systems is advantageous; however, comprehensive training will be provided.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential.
