Role Overview

  • Conduct quality inspections of produce at intake, repacking, and final product stages.
  • Maintain detailed daily records such as intake and dispatch checks, prepare quality reports for suppliers, continuously assess raw material quality, and communicate any issues to production and purchasing teams.
  • Ensure strict adherence to HACCP guidelines to secure product safety and process control.
  • Maintain compliance with BRC standards and ensure comprehensive traceability for all product lines.
  • Verify traceability for each delivery and proactively coordinate with suppliers to obtain necessary traceability documentation ahead of deliveries.
  • Support internal audits regularly and ensure the factory complies fully with all health, safety, and quality regulations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A degree in Food Science or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience working with fresh produce is desirable.
  • Essential certifications include BRC/IFS Food Safety Certification, HACCP, Bord Bia standards, Food Service and Retailer Codes of Practice, and relevant food manufacturing knowledge.
