Quality Assurance Manager

Role overview

Tenarai is looking for a highly experienced Quality Assurance Manager to own and steer the testing function. This position requires a senior professional who can balance hands-on QA leadership with stakeholder coordination and program-level reporting.

What you will do

• Define and shape the test strategy and prepare detailed test plans.
• Work through defect triage and requirement discussions with several stakeholder groups.
• Address issues effectively while managing priorities across multiple teams.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly updates to stakeholders, including test reports and progress summaries for testing activities across the program.

Technical capabilities needed

• Strong command of testing fundamentals, including strategy and test plan creation.
• Practical experience with API testing using Postman.
• Familiarity with data formats such as JSON and XML.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database validation/testing.
• Experience building and executing automated testing approaches using multiple tools is preferred.
• Solid understanding of Agile QA/Dev workflows and the software development and testing life cycle.

Experience and qualifications

• Overall professional experience of 15 to 18 years.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in the travel domain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent educational background.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a related capacity.
• Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

This is a senior onsite position based in the Greater Brisbane Area. The role is intended for a seasoned QA leader who can combine technical testing expertise with cross-functional communication and program oversight.
