Quality Analyst / QA Lead - Mobile and Internet Banking

Overview

We are urgently seeking a Quality Analyst / QA Lead specializing in Mobile and Internet Banking within the banking sector. Based in Doha, Qatar, this contract role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of digital banking services by conducting thorough testing and collaborating closely with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing including regression and defect analysis on digital banking platforms (Mobile and Internet Banking).
• Create, execute, and manage comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts to validate software functionality.
• Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Utilize Jira to effectively track and manage test cases, defects, and project-related tasks.
• Engage actively in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Analyze test outcomes, monitor trends, provide detailed quality reports, and ensure compliance with established standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing testing methods and best practices.

Candidate Requirements

• Native Arabic speaker with bilingual capabilities.
• At least 6 years of experience as a Quality Analyst or Software Test Engineer focused on digital banking services.
• In-depth knowledge of banking processes and operations.
• Strong proficiency with Jira as a test management tool.
• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills with an aptitude for proposing effective solutions.
• Well-versed in Agile methodologies and teamwork dynamics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate efficiently with diverse teams.
