Project Engineer - Fitout

Overview

The Project Engineer will oversee the technical and engineering aspects of interior fit-out projects, ensuring the alignment of activities from inception through completion while maintaining profitability and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure project profitability by managing all related activities.
• Plan, schedule, forecast, coordinate, and supervise technical tasks within assigned projects to guarantee accuracy and high-quality outcomes.
• Track and follow up on procurement requirements to support project needs.
• Take accountability for all engineering and technical disciplines involved in projects.
• Ensure adherence to relevant codes, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and project specifications.
• Engage daily with clients to understand and represent their requirements on site.
• Conduct comprehensive quality control including budget management, scheduling, plan oversight, and team performance evaluations; provide regular project progress reports.
• Collaborate closely with the project manager and other stakeholders to offer support and technical guidance.
• Review engineering outputs and implement necessary corrective measures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of seven years experience as a Project Engineer focusing on interior fit-out projects.
