Job description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our food manufacturing team based in Singapore at 54 Woodlands Terrace. This hands-on role involves operating noodle-making machinery and ensuring product specifications are met while maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or until work completion
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM with additional hours as needed
- Sunday: Rest day
- Overtime compensated at 1.5 times the regular rate
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and adjust noodle production machines according to required thickness and weight specifications
- Add starch or flour during the manufacturing process as necessary
- Conduct daily cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment
- Troubleshoot machinery issues at a basic level to minimize downtime
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the production area
- Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety protocols
- Collaborate with production team members to ensure continuous and efficient operation
Candidate Requirements
- Must be Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident
- Physically fit to stand for extended periods and handle tasks involving up to 25kg of lifting
- Basic proficiency in Chinese to comprehend production and safety instructions
- Prior experience with machine operation or troubleshooting is a plus
- Experience in food production or related manufacturing environments preferred but not mandatory
- Responsible, diligent, and possesses a strong team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary
- Maintains high personal hygiene standards in compliance with food production regulations
- Comfortable working in an active and physically engaging food manufacturing environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary up to SGD 2100 per month
- A fixed overtime allowance of SGD 150 monthly
- Transport allowance amounting to SGD 350 monthly
- Variable monthly component of SGD 200
- Overtime pay at 1.5 times the applicable rate
- Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) and performance-based variable bonuses, prorated as per company policy
- Seven days of annual leave granted
