Product Operations Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Product Operations Engineer to join a government technology team based in Singapore (near Redhill MRT / Telok Blangah MRT). This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension. The role focuses on establishing and enhancing the foundational operational systems that support product teams in achieving mission goals within an AI-native Product Operations (ProductOps) framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and refine operational procedures including planning cycles, inter-team coordination, governance, and documentation.
• Maintain and enhance internal ProductOps tools such as knowledge platforms, design systems, AI co-pilots, and product health dashboards.
• Proficiently apply AI tools in daily tasks and facilitate the integration of new AI-enabled technologies into the team.
• Create dashboards, establish metrics, and generate reports that empower teams to make data-driven decisions.
• Lead efforts in the adoption and deployment of internal products across various teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or related disciplines.
• At least three years of relevant experience in product operations, product management, UX/product design, product strategy, or similar roles.
• Demonstrated ability to develop operational capabilities within complex environments involving multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with product analytics, defining performance metrics, and translating data into actionable insights.
• Systems thinker capable of navigating ambiguity and crafting simple, scalable solutions.
• Proficiency and habitual use of AI tools in professional settings; eagerness to explore emerging AI technologies.
• Experience in creating AI-assisted workflows, automations, or tools—such as LLM-based assistants, agentic workflows, or prompt engineering—is advantageous.
• Capability to comply with security and regulatory standards typically found in government contexts.

Additional Information

• Eligibility: Only Singaporean citizens may apply.
• Location: Onsite role near Redhill MRT and Telok Blangah MRT stations in Singapore.
• Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract with a possibility of extension.
• Compensation: Up to SGD 6,500 per month, plus annual wage supplements, performance bonuses, and loyalty bonuses.
