Produce Stocker (Part-Time)

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the produce department’s cleanliness, organization, and neat zoning to ensure it is always customer-ready.
• Regularly rotate stock, removing any expired products to guarantee quality and freshness.
• Accurately price and label all produce following ordering, clearance, markup, markdown, signage, and labeling protocols.
• Strictly adhere to food safety, sanitation, cold chain procedures, including monitoring temperatures, proper thermometer use, and compliance with sell-by and expiration dates.
• Stock and downstock merchandise as required, apply product protection, and arrange modular displays and shelf caps to maintain full inventory.
• Observe all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
• Be flexible with working hours, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business demands.

Role Challenges

• Effectively manage high task volumes in a fast-paced setting, especially during overnight shifts, maintaining energy and focus.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as prolonged standing, bending, lifting items up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Consistently execute repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing duties with attention to detail to uphold store standards.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.70.
