Process Operator

Role overview

This is a local, day-shift-only opportunity in Kalgoorlie for someone with process, plant, or chemical industry experience who wants to avoid shutdown work, night shifts, and FIFO rosters. The position offers hands-on work, the chance to return home each evening, and a stable long-term role within a compact team.

Working pattern

• Monday to Friday day shift, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
• No night shifts, no FIFO travel, and home every night
• Early start options are available
• Overtime may be offered as site needs increase
• Long-term, steady employment in a close-knit crew

What the job involves

This is an end-to-end production role covering the full workflow rather than just one stage. You will be involved in manufacturing, warehouse movement, and plant activity throughout the day.

• Preparing chemical products through mixing and batching
• Handling raw materials and using forklifts every day
• Carrying out product checks and quality testing
• Filling tankers and getting orders ready for dispatch
• Keeping the yard tidy and supporting clean-up tasks
• Assisting with simple maintenance work when required

What we are looking for

• A current forklift licence is required
• Background in process work, mining or processing plants, chemicals, manufacturing, or industrial settings
• Good mechanical thinking and a willingness to work practically
• Careful, safety-first approach with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a small, disciplined team
• Willingness to follow PPE rules, including respirator use and a clean-shaven requirement
