Power Platform Release Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a Power Platform Release Specialist with between 5 to 8 years of experience in IT, including at least 4 years focused on Power Platform administration, governance, Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and Power Apps development. Candidates with certifications such as PL-400, PL-410, or PL-600 are preferred. The role demands excellent analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and effective stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the enterprise release and lifecycle governance of Power Platform to ensure deployments across Development, Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production environments are secure, stable, and compliant.
• Manage release pipelines specifically for Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse platforms.
• Implement and enforce best practices related to managed solutions, version control, dependency management, and rollback procedures.
• Handle release configuration components such as connection references, environment variables, and service account management.
• Coordinate readiness activities for releases with development teams, system administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and governance bodies.
• Keep comprehensive records of releases including deployment logs and audit trails.
• Provide support for issues arising from production releases and facilitate post-deployment reviews.
