About the Role

Join a locally owned and operated store dedicated to delivering health, beauty, and convenience services in your community, with a strong focus on customer-centric care. As the Post Office Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the provision of comprehensive retail postal services including courier shipments, postal boxes, money transfers, and call-in parcels for Shoppers Drug Mart customers. Your role ensures maximization of department revenue alongside excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example, ensuring Post Office employees embody company CORE Values.
• Conduct interviews and propose candidates for new hires.
• Ensure Post Office cashiers adhere strictly to all Store Standards.
• Train employees on their roles while providing continuous coaching and guidance.
• Assist in evaluating Post Office cashier staff performance together with the Store Manager.
• Deliver exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations.
• Ensure employees maintain a professional image aligned with the Uniform Policy.
• Implement loss prevention strategies and ensure compliance with related procedures, including parcel checks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Capable of independent decision making and sound judgment when responding to customer requests.
• Ability to ask pertinent questions to reach the appropriate solutions.
• Experience in retail and cash handling processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Effective organizational, planning, and time management capabilities.
• Strong commitment to outstanding customer service.

Working Conditions

• Must be flexible to work shifts including evenings and weekends as required.

Salary Details

The salary range for this role is $18.20 to $20.55 per hour. Compensation will consider the candidate's experience, knowledge, and the region of employment. This is a newly established position. Artificial intelligence may be used in the screening, evaluation, and selection process of applicants.
