About the Role

PGG Wrightson Seeds, part of the global DLF group, services markets in New Zealand and internationally, covering all stages of the seed lifecycle from research to production and farm support. Located in Ashburton, New Zealand, this fixed-term 12-month position involves operating machinery for seed processing, dressing, and packing products to deliver high-quality outcomes for customers in the arable industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating machinery involved in seed processing and packing operations.
• Preparing and treating seeds to meet customer specifications.
• Collecting and organizing product samples systematically.
• Completing all necessary documentation accurately.
• Operating forklifts to assist with material movement.

Candidate Requirements and Experience

• Prior knowledge of machinery or farming practices is beneficial.
• Forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be offered.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards.
• Positive and proactive work attitude.
