Key Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and update project schedules based on project needs and approved execution plans.
  • Assist in the development and coordination of detailed work packages.
  • Facilitate planning and scheduling coordination among project teams, clients, and EPC contractors.
  • Track activities in engineering, procurement, construction, and overall project execution.
  • Generate daily and weekly reports on project progress and performance.
  • Provide support for earned value analysis and evaluate project performance against baselines.
  • Identify deviations, delays, constraints, and emerging risks impacting the schedule.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Level 3 engineering and project schedules.
  • Support management and updates of the Client Master Schedule.
  • Oversee engineering deliverable progress through Master Document and Engineering Deliverables Status Registers.
  • Monitor procurement plans, purchase orders, vendor documentation, and delivery schedules for equipment and materials.
  • Prepare procurement progress updates and flag potential impacts on project milestones.
  • Review contractor schedules, progress updates, forecasts, and look-ahead schedules.
  • Help verify quantities reported in contractor progress submissions.
  • Confirm reported physical progress aligns with project records and completed work.
  • Monitor critical and near-critical activities, assessing their effect on overall project completion timelines.
  • Support schedule recovery and mitigation planning when necessary.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to validate progress and forecast completion dates.
  • Prepare schedule analyses, dashboards, and planning information for project management review.
  • Maintain accurate planning records ensuring compliance with project standards, client needs, and company policies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or related fields.
  • Relevant experience in project planning, scheduling, or project controls specifically within oil and gas, refining, petrochemical, energy, or industrial sectors.
  • Background supporting EPC, downstream, brownfield, or site execution projects.
  • Strong proficiency in project-planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Skilled in Primavera P6 for schedule development and maintenance, particularly Level 3 engineering schedules.
  • Understanding of earned value management and schedule performance analytics.
  • Experience managing engineering deliverables registers and monitoring procurement and vendor deliverables.
  • Proficiency in reviewing contractor progress reports and verifying reported quantities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning workflows.
  • Ability to detect schedule risks, constraints, and potential delays.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong capabilities in Microsoft Excel and project reporting tools.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Availability and willingness to work full-time onsite in Jubail, Saudi Arabia.
  • Experience with EcoSys and Power BI is advantageous.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-SP, AACE, or equivalents are preferred.
  • Previous exposure to projects in Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, or downstream-related assignments is beneficial.
