Role Overview
This position involves working within a warehouse or e-commerce fulfillment environment such as grocery or dark stores, focusing on order picking and packing tasks to support timely deliveries.
Key Duties
- Use a scanner or app to receive picking lists and collect products from shelves as per order requirements.
- Inspect product quality and pack items securely to prevent damage.
- Confirm accurate SKU, quantity, expiration dates, and barcode details before packaging.
- Organize orders by delivery zones or customers and transfer them to the delivery personnel.
- Support inventory activities including stock replenishment, labeling, and conducting cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Achieve daily productivity targets maintaining accuracy and low error margins.
Qualifications and Skills
- Basic literacy and the ability to operate a handheld scanner/device.
- Physical fitness to lift items weighing between 5-15 kg and to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
- Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently.
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
