Company and Position Overview

We are partnering exclusively with a reputable and well-established insurance brokerage based in Tullow, County Carlow, to find a dedicated Personal Lines Insurance Broker. This permanent, full-time role involves managing a client portfolio focusing on motor, household, and travel insurance products.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for a dedicated book of clients, managing renewals, new business acquisitions, mid-term adjustments, and daily policy inquiries efficiently.
• Offer accurate, personalized advice related to Personal Lines insurance products, including motor, household, and travel coverage.
• Maintain high client retention rates by driving renewals and proactively acquiring new customers.
• Identify and implement opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling within your existing clientele to enhance portfolio value.
• Deliver consistently excellent customer service, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to clients.
• Use the Relay system effectively to ensure precise policy administration and compliance with regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold a current Continuing Professional Development (CPD) compliance status and possess a relevant industry qualification such as APA (Associate of the Personal Injuries Specialist Association) or CIP (Chartered Insurance Practitioner).
• Demonstrated experience managing a Personal Lines insurance desk or handling a busy client portfolio in an insurance broking environment.
• Familiarity with the Relay Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is highly advantageous.
• A proactive and highly organized individual with excellent communication skills focused on client retention.

Compensation and Workplace

• Competitive base salary ranging between €30,000 and €40,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
