Overview
Located in Drogheda, Howden Ireland invites applications for a permanent position of Personal Lines Account Executive. This vital role is part of the broader Personal Lines team and reports directly to the Team Leader and head of existing business.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance relationships with current clients to ensure that their insurance needs are consistently met and to foster long-term loyalty.
- Oversee the renewal of personal lines insurance policies including reviewing terms, conducting negotiations, and guaranteeing renewals are completed on schedule.
- Assess clients' risk profiles and offer professional guidance on appropriate insurance products and coverage.
- Deliver outstanding client service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving any issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Meet targets related to new business acquisition and policy renewals.
- Follow company compliance protocols and office procedures concerning new business development and policy renewals.
- Stay informed about market trends and product availability, providing management with feedback related to pricing, service standards, and product enhancements.
- Collaborate with other internal teams as necessary to support training, product development, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Participate in client meetings alongside management when required.
- Comply with all procedures and compliance requirements outlined in the company's handbook and manual.
Candidate Profile
- Possess between one to three years of experience in an insurance-related role.
- Hold a minimum of APA Personal Lines certification or a Grandfathered status with evidence of current CPD.
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of personal lines insurance products and market.
- Have proven success managing client portfolios, particularly in policy renewals and client relationship management.
- Skilled in negotiating terms that benefit both clients and the company.
- Able to cultivate and sustain durable client relationships to promote client retention and satisfaction.
