Role overview
GamingCenter is developing a worldwide marketplace for interactive gaming experiences. The platform brings together players and gaming communities with streamers, creators, professional players, and coaches for bookable gaming sessions, coaching, community events, and similar interactive offerings.
The company is hiring a Partnership Growth Intern to support partner acquisition, market research, outreach preparation, CRM upkeep, and marketplace growth. The position begins remotely and is available in two formats: a voluntary internship of up to 3 months, depending on candidate eligibility and German internship rules, or a mandatory school/university internship of up to 6 months with confirmation from the educational institution that the internship is required.
Responsibilities
As part of the Partnership Growth and Email Outreach workstream, you will assist with partner sourcing and relationship support. The role includes identifying and evaluating potential partners, keeping CRM records organized, and helping prepare communication and follow-up materials.
Recruitment process
The hiring process is designed to assess fit for both sides and may include an application review, a short interview with HR or the department, a practical task, and then a selected 14-day pre-internship trial and assessment period. That 14-day phase may involve onboarding, company and department training, research assignments, CRM documentation, communication simulations, feedback sessions, and approved internal tasks. The scope, timing, expectations, and conditions of this stage will be shared with shortlisted candidates before it starts. Candidates who complete it successfully and are mutually aligned with the team may be invited to start the formal internship.
What the internship offers
The internship provides practical exposure to partnership growth and marketplace development, along with insight into the gaming, creator economy, streaming, and esports sectors. You can expect experience with partner research, CRM systems, outreach preparation, and communication workflows, as well as structured onboarding, documentation, regular feedback, and the chance to contribute ideas that improve growth processes. An internship certificate is provided after successful completion.
Future opportunity
High-performing interns may be considered later for a Working Student or Full-Time role, subject to performance, reliability, communication, business needs, availability of a suitable opening, and eligibility to work in Germany. Any future position may follow a hybrid arrangement with about two days per week in the Berlin office and the rest remote. Continued employment after the internship is not assured and will be decided case by case.
Application requirements
Applicants should send a CV, a brief note on why they want to join GamingCenter, their current location and time zone, earliest start date, weekly availability, and whether they are applying for the 3-month voluntary internship or the 6-month mandatory internship. For mandatory internships, confirmation from the school or university is required. Candidates may also include relevant experience in gaming, partnerships, outreach, sales, marketing, content creation, esports, or community management. Applications are open to people from all backgrounds and identities.
