Panel Operator - HYL/Midrex Plant

Job Overview

This role involves operating and monitoring the control panels for various material handling and processing systems at the HYL and Midrex plants. The operator will ensure all process parameters adhere to daily instructions and standard operating procedures to maintain smooth and safe plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and control operations of material handling systems, reactor charge and discharge, hot DRI transport to SMP, cold DRI handling, dedusting, and cement coating processes.
• Sustain daily process parameters and ensure timely corrective actions to prevent delays or unsafe conditions.
• Operate designated plant areas in compliance with safety standards and departmental targets.
• Collaborate with field personnel to adjust equipment and valve positions for optimal process flow.
• Report any process deviations or require guidance from shift supervisors or senior operators promptly.
• Coordinate with the Material Handling Department regarding raw material input and product discharge systems.
• Follow plant shutdown, start-up, and emergency procedures to ensure safe operations.
• Maintain accurate process parameter records and log sheets.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in plant panel operations.
• Educational qualification: Higher Secondary School or ITI certification.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication.
