Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, Oracle BI reporting tools, integration technologies, and in-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage SQL queries with in-depth experience in conversions, interfaces, and reporting using BI, OTBI, FRS, and FBDI templates.
• Demonstrate foundational knowledge across several Oracle Cloud modules, including navigation, underlying tables, and end-to-end business process understanding.
• Design and implement integrations involving web services such as REST, SOAP, and WSDL, utilizing SOA and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Perform data conversions leveraging fusion templates efficiently.
• Build and maintain complex Oracle BI Publisher reports, data models, and RTF templates, including creation of interactive reports.
• Manage and monitor production support activities, including queue monitoring, incident handling, and ensuring ticket resolution within SLA.
• Apply strong SQL performance tuning techniques and oversee code quality standards, naming conventions, and code migration practices.
• Utilize expertise in IT Service Management processes like Incident, Problem, and Enhancement management.
• Employ knowledge of security roles within BI environments and follow best practices for security and performance.
• Develop reports and dashboards using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, SmartView, and Financial Reporting Studio.
• Gain a technical understanding of Oracle Cloud data models focused on Financials, SCM, Projects, and Procurement modules.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum experience ranging from 4 to 19 years in relevant Oracle Cloud technical roles.
• Advanced proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL programming.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle BI Tools within Oracle Cloud Applications, including OTBI and BI Publisher.
• Familiarity with frequently used integration patterns in Cloud environments.
• Basic knowledge of security roles related to BI reporting.
• Strong background in performance optimization and SQL tuning.
• Prior involvement in production support projects and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
• Must hold at least a graduate degree.
