About the Role
The Internal Security Department (ISD) plays a vital role in protecting Singapore's internal stability by countering various threats, including foreign subversion, espionage, racial and religious extremism, and terrorism. With a history spanning over 75 years, ISD seeks individuals dedicated to safeguarding Singapore's security and sovereignty.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research on internet behaviors and related phenomena, focusing on areas such as terrorism and violent extremism.
- Develop tactical reports for security incidents and create strategic analyses on recurring events to support ISD's mission.
Candidate Profile
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills with the ability to synthesize and interpret data effectively.
- Self-motivated and driven with a keen interest in regional and local current affairs.
- Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proficient research and writing capabilities, comfortable handling extensive research data.
- Skilled in utilizing current and emerging digital tools and analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with internet navigation and an interest in web technologies.
