Job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical and process systems at pharmaceutical and CDMO facilities in Singapore. This role will oversee the entire project lifecycle and ensure compliance with relevant engineering and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design and commissioning of process equipment including reactors, piping, HVAC, and utilities.
  • Manage all phases of projects, from technical specifications and risk assessments to installation, testing, and project handover.
  • Ensure all work adheres to Singapore BCA, SCDF, HSA, ASME, as well as GMP and GLP standards.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely and cost-effective projects.
  • Carry out process optimization, troubleshoot mechanical systems, and validate installations for maximum operational efficiency.
  • Strictly enforce Workplace Safety and Health regulations on site during installation activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience of 1-3 years in process engineering and mechanical installation within pharmaceutical, chemical, or precision manufacturing industries preferred.
  • Strong understanding of piping systems, including ASME B31.3, HVAC, and pressure vessel standards.
