About Etiqa and the Role
Etiqa Insurance Singapore is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join the Corporate Planning team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about people, possessing creative thinking abilities, a positive mindset, and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the development and implementation of annual strategic and business plans across Life and General Insurance sectors.
- Conduct thorough market, financial, and strategic analyses to aid decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends and developments to assess their potential impact on the company's strategy.
- Support strategic workshops and reviews involving business and functional teams.
- Track progress against strategic goals, KPIs, and corporate objectives, preparing dashboards and management reports.
- Monitor execution of strategic initiatives, identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
- Carry out competitor benchmarking on products, channels, financial metrics, and customer offerings.
- Analyze market, customer, and distribution trends to pinpoint business risks and opportunities.
- Support strategic and transformation projects including planning, coordination and progress monitoring.
- Prepare high-quality reports, executive summaries, and presentations for Management and Board meetings.
- Conduct research on emerging trends affecting insurance such as Artificial Intelligence, Climate Change, Longevity, and shifts in customer behavior.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Distribution, Product, Operations, Actuarial, Risk, Technology, and Customer teams to ensure alignment and smooth communication.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Strategy, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
- Between 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate planning, management consulting, or financial services, preferably within insurance or banking sectors.
- Solid understanding of insurance business models and the insurance value chain.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
