Manager - IT Infrastructure and Data Center Operations

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager to oversee IT infrastructure and data center operations, ensuring smooth functionality of Microsoft services and virtualization platforms. The role demands strong technical knowledge in Microsoft Exchange Online, Teams, Office 365, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies, along with the ability to manage daily IT operations and provide advanced troubleshooting support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of Microsoft services including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Active Directory.
• Handle user, group, and distribution list management within Active Directory and Office 365 environments.
• Oversee Microsoft DirSync and Active Directory integration.
• Set up and utilize Windows PowerShell for automation and management tasks.
• Troubleshoot OneDrive synchronization issues effectively.
• Administer identity and federation services for secure access management.
• Ensure security and compliance within Office 365 environments.
• Manage Microsoft licensing and Office 365 license assignments.
• Perform extensive Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting activities.
• Implement and support Windows Failover Clustering configurations.
• Operate virtual environments using VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Nutanix virtualization technologies.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills to independently handle workloads.
• Prepare and provide monitoring and Management Information System (MIS) reports related to Windows and associated activities.
• Deliver Level 2 support for Windows-related technical issues.
• Conduct diagnosis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of problems escalated on backup platforms.
• Create and share daily MIS reports for ongoing activities and operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Full-time graduate degree such as B.E., B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc. IT, or MCA from a recognized institute.
• 5 to 8 years of professional experience in infrastructure and data center operations.

Technical Skills

• Proficient with Windows Server versions 2012 to 2019.
• Experienced in virtualization technologies including Hyper-V, VMware, and Nutanix.
• Knowledge in Windows Failover Clustering.
• Expertise in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and ADFS.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 components like Exchange Online and MS Teams.
