Role Overview

The Logistics Manager will oversee operational execution, performance, and vendor management within a specific cluster of markets for Too Good To Go's parcel business — a unique solution that enables food manufacturers to reduce waste by packaging surplus items into parcels sold at discounted prices. This role involves managing third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and last-mile delivery partners, leading a team of Logistics Specialists, and collaborating closely with European logistics leadership and operational excellence teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and enforce operational performance and service level agreements with 3PLs and last-mile delivery vendors, conducting regular business reviews and addressing operational issues promptly.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for logistics partners, ensuring alignment with internal and external expectations and maintaining clear communication about progress.
• Enhance customer experience post-purchase by analyzing support metrics and implementing operational changes to boost customer retention.
• Collaborate with the Finance team to monitor, audit, and control end-to-end supply chain operational costs within budget constraints.
• Lead and develop a team of Logistics Specialists, ensuring their effectiveness, engagement, and alignment with tactical objectives.
• Produce accurate and timely operational performance reports for senior logistics leadership, highlighting key metrics and risks.
• Partner with global and regional stakeholders to influence the strategic logistics roadmap with practical operational insights.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects including onboarding new logistics providers, implementing updated operational models, and deploying new systems and processes as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive background in e-commerce operations, supply chain management, or tactical logistics, preferably within fast-paced B2C food, grocery, or perishable goods sectors.
• Proven expertise managing 3PLs and last-mile delivery services, with a strong track record of upholding SLAs and vendor accountability while fostering trusted relationships.
• Experience leading and coaching operational teams to achieve performance targets and operational goals.
• Excellent communication skills for managing external vendors, aligning cross-functional teams, and influencing senior leadership.
• Strong analytical ability to investigate operational data, identify root causes of issues, and implement effective tactical solutions promptly.
• Fluency in English and either Dutch or German.
• Preferred qualifications include managing multi-market or pan-European logistics operations and hands-on knowledge of ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Order Management Systems (OMS).
