Logistics Executive

Role Overview

We seek an organized and detail-focused Logistics Executive to oversee and optimize the logistics operations, facilitating smooth movement of goods, materials, and inventories within the supply chain. The role involves collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and warehouses to guarantee timely deliveries, proper inventory management, and cost-effective logistics processes in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, transportation scheduling, and monitor delivery progress ensuring timely and accurate product delivery.
• Prepare shipping and customs documentation, maintain logistics records, and verify compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
• Track shipments, address delivery challenges, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to reduce disruptions.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, sales, finance, customer service, and external logistics partners to enhance inventory flow and overall supply chain performance.
• Support inventory planning, assess logistics performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities in transportation and operational processes.
• Develop logistics reports, analyze transportation and inventory data, monitor KPIs, and maintain thorough documentation.
• Assist in supplier performance assessment and engage in continual improvement initiatives to uplift logistics efficiencies.
• Stay current on industry best practices, transportation laws, and emerging logistics technologies to elevate operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Comprehensive understanding of logistics operations, transportation, inventory control, and supply chain workflows.
• Knowledge of shipping protocols, warehouse management, customs documentation, and freight coordination.
• Experience with inventory management systems, ERP software, and logistics platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, organizational skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
• Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for fostering productive relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and stakeholders.
• Awareness of compliance issues, transportation regulations, and adopting supply chain best practices.
