Local Content Associate Manager

Job Overview

Located in the Jeddah office and reporting to the Head of Local Content, this role is responsible for overseeing the implementation, compliance, and progress of Local Content initiatives throughout the organization. The position ensures adherence to the LCGPA’s rules and contractual commitments while promoting initiatives to boost local content levels.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and analyze comprehensive Local Content Obligation Reports such as Baseline, Progress, and Audit reports, complemented with dashboards and key performance indicators.
• Gather, scrutinize, and validate data across procurement, suppliers, finance, costs, payroll, and other relevant areas critical for Local Content reporting and compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors for audit report preparation, ensuring punctual submission of documentation.
• Continuously monitor Local Content performance against goals, identify gaps and risks, and implement corrective or mitigation strategies.
• Stay informed on updates and changes in Local Content policies, regulations, and templates issued by LCGPA, integrating any changes into company processes.
• Collaborate efficiently with departments such as Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, HR, Payroll, and Operations to meet Local Content objectives.
• Manage activities related to registration of local suppliers, their development, and broader localization projects intended to increase Local Content proportions.
• Proactively seek opportunities to advance Local Content through procurement strategies, supplier engagement, and localization efforts.
• Maintain accurate records, databases, and supporting audit documentation for Local Content.
• Track Local Content-related tasks, commitments, and deadlines to ensure on-time fulfillment.
• Prepare and deliver management presentations, dashboards, and other performance reports concerning Local Content.
• Lead efforts to standardize and enhance Local Content processes, procedures, and reporting mechanisms continuously.
• Undertake additional Local Content assignments as required.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• The candidate must be a Saudi national.
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Bring at least two years of practical experience in Local Content roles, focusing on reporting, compliance, auditing, or similar functions.
• Have solid familiarity with LCGPA’s guidelines, regulations, and Local Content compliance norms.
• Experience working and communicating with government entities and authorities, capable of managing official correspondence in both Arabic and English.
• Knowledgeable in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Vendor Management or related fields, with an aptitude for analyzing procurement and financial data relevant to Local Content.
• Experience supporting local supplier growth, localization programs, and identifying ways to enhance Local Content outcomes.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI for Local Content data analysis and reporting.
• Exhibit strong communication, stakeholder handling, analytical, and reporting abilities in Arabic and English, capable of coordinating effectively within and outside the organization.
• Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.
