About the Role
The Lifestyle Bartender position is based at The Pearl Island, Doha, Qatar, within the esteemed St. Regis Hotels & Resorts. This role is a full-time, non-management position focused on delivering exceptional guest experiences beyond just preparing drinks.
Key Responsibilities
- Create unique and memorable beverage experiences tailored to guests' evolving preferences.
- Stay current with market trends and continuously adapt to guest needs.
- Serve as the bar's host, personally ensuring guests' direct experience is outstanding.
- Maintain the bar’s appearance and operational perfection through dedication and expertise.
- Build relationships across the hotel and the local community to enhance the guest experience.
- Manage guest interactions with passion and meticulous attention to detail, including financial transactions and beverage quality.
- Adhere fully to company policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements.
- Protect company assets and maintain quality standards in personal appearance, uniform, and communication professionalism at all times.
- Perform physically active tasks such as standing, walking extensively, lifting and moving objects up to 25 pounds, reaching, kneeling, twisting, stretching, and bending as needed.
- Contribute actively to the success of the guests’ stay and the overall business through diligent and flexible effort.
Qualifications and Experience
- Completed secondary education or equivalent general education development certificate (GED).
- Minimum one year of relevant work experience in a related role.
- No supervisory experience is required.
- No licenses or certifications mandatory.
